Applications are invited for a lecturer position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte starting August, 2018. This is a nine-month appointment, initially for a three-year term, with the possibility of renewal. Duties involve teaching four courses each semester and some service responsibilities.

This position is in the area of mathematics. Required qualifications include a master’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, and teaching experiences at the undergraduate level. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in mathematics, the capability of teaching large classes, teaching upper level mathematics classes for math majors, especially in the area of actuarial sciences, and demonstrated commitment to and experience with teaching a diverse student body.
