The Department of Mathematics at Colgate University invites applications for a tenure-stream position in Computational Mathematics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2022. Completion of the Ph.D. is required prior to or shortly after the date of hire.

The Department of Mathematics is excited to announce our search for a Computational Mathematician who can broaden and enhance our current offerings in computational mathematics, expand cross-disciplinary research options in the student research-based classes for our seniors, support introductory level offerings, and contribute to the research profile of our department. The successful candidate will work with department members to strengthen our new Applied Mathematics major. All Colgate faculty participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.
