The Department of Mathematics at Colgate University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position beginning fall semester 2023 with the possibility of renewal for an additional year dependent on performance and institutional need. Completion of the Ph.D. is required prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire. The successful candidate will, in the course of each academic year, teach five courses from among our elementary courses and possibly our numerically oriented courses. Each semester there will be at most two different course preparations required.
