    Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Modular Representation Theory. This position is funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project Grant “New Dualities in Modular Representation Theory” held by Oded Yacobi and Kevin Coulembier. The successful candidate will also teach 39 hours of lectures and 32 hours of tutorials per year, for the two years of the position.

    About you

    To qualify for this position, the candidate will need to demonstrate: •

  • a PhD in a relevant area; •

  • expertise in representation theory, homological algebra, and/or category theory; •

  • demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research under limited supervision either independently or as part of a research team in representation theory or related areas; •

  • published research as sole author or in collaboration; •

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;

    The position is full-time fixed-term for two years, subject to completion of a satisfactory probation and confirmation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of appointment.
