Postdoctoral fellowships (up to 6) are available at the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute for two SAMSI Research Programs in 2018-19:

1) Statistical, Mathematical, and Computational Methods for Precision Medicine (PMED); and 2) Model Uncertainty: Mathematical and Statistical (MUMS)

Appointments will begin in August 2018 and typically last two years. Appointments are made jointly between SAMSI and one of its partner universities, where teaching is a possibility. Competitive salaries, travel stipends, and health insurance will be offered.

Full details of the programs are on the respective program website: or

Applicants for a SAMSI Postdoctoral Fellowship should have a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, statistics or another highly quantitative discipline related to the program area.
