The Department of Mathematics at the University of Alabama has a postdoctoral position, beginning August 16, 2021. This position is renewable annually for up to three years. The teaching load is 3 courses, 9 credit hours, per year (a 2/1 load). Candidates are expected to provide effective teaching and carry out research in collaboration with members of the analysis group, particularly David Cruz-Uribe, who will be the postdoctoral supervisor. We are seeking candidates with expertise in harmonic analysis and PDEs whose research interests mesh closely with the members of the analysis group.
