invites applications for two one-year visiting positions at the rank of
Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) of

contribution to the Department’s program. For these appointments,
candidates must have a Ph.D. (or its requirements completed) in
Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related area by August

found highly qualified with respect to these criteria, preference will
be given to those who can fulfill the department’s current instructional
needs as well as those with strong research collaboration potential
with members of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Candidates
must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and
inclusion. Applications should be completed by June 20, 2022 to ensure full consideration. Due to the pandemic, successful candidates may be expected to teach courses in a non-traditional way depending on the university’s response to this pandemic.
