Visiting Position in Mathematics 

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at John Carroll University is seeking applications for a visiting faculty position in Mathematics, to begin August 2018. The initial appointment will be for one year, but the position will be renewable for up to three years. Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related discipline (or imminent completion by that date) is required. Full consideration will be given to applications that are complete by February 15, 2018, although applications will be accepted until the position is filled. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for excellence in the teaching of mathematics in a liberal arts setting, have the ability to teach both elementary and upper-level courses and will be committed to working closely with students. The teaching responsibility involves approximately 12 hours per semester, usually 3 to 4 courses. For more information, please visit
