The successful applicant will join an energetic and dynamic department consisting of 55 full-time faculty in the areas of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education. Our faculty are active in professional fields at the local, national, and international level and are dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education. We currently offer Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics, minors in Mathematics and Statistics, an M.Ed. in Mathematics, and are the core group offering a minor in Data Analytics. We care about people and value high-quality undergraduate education, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our recent efforts to support underrepresented and first-generation student populations resulted in the establishment of the Haynes Residential Learning Community. The department is committed to further becoming a place where students, staff, and faculty of all backgrounds experience a supportive, affirming environment.
