Haverford College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (http://www.haverford.edu/math/) at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2018. Applicants can work in any area of pure mathematics.

Applicants should provide evidence of excellence in teaching, a desire to teach a diverse student body in a liberal-arts setting, an ability to contribute to the Haverford math curriculum at all levels (including advising senior thesis work), and an outstanding research program with a well-developed plan for future work. The successful candidate for the position should have completed their PhD by the time of the appointment.
