The Department of Mathematics at The Florida State University is accepting applications for postdoctoral positions in mathematics starting in August 2021. The position appointment is for 12 months with renewal upon satisfactory performance. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline, a strong research record, and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests overlap significantly with those of current faculty members. Applicants are strongly encouraged to include in their cover letter the name(s) of FSU faculty whose research best aligns with their own. Tallahassee has a warm climate, with an annual average high temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit and an annual average low temperature of 56 degrees Fahrenheit.
