The Department of Mathematics at University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a non-tenure stream Lecturer to begin in the Fall Term 2018, pending budgetary approval. The initial appointment is for 2 years and the position is renewable for subsequent 3-year terms. A Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences or a closely related discipline is required. We seek excellence in teaching and an interest in innovative instruction. Send a vita, three letters of recommendation, and a teaching portfolio including a statement of teaching philosophy, sample course syllabi and assignments, and evaluations of teaching by students or supervisors, electronically through Review of completed files will begin on January 22, 2018 and continue until the positions are filled.
