The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) seeks applicants for the position of Lecturer in Applied Mathematics, with a start date of January 1, 2023. The position is a six month, non-renewable academic appointment. 

The Lecturer will teach Applied Math 105: Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations. Responsibilities include: 
  • Preparing and delivering lectures, in-class exercises, homework assignments, examination questions, and assigning course grades
  • Supervising of instructional support staff 
  • Holding course office hour 
A PhD in applied mathematics or a related field is required. Prior undergraduate-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
