The University of New Hampshire (UNH) Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a lecturer position to teach courses in mathematics, mathematics education, and/or statistics during the 2019-20 academic year. This is an 88%-time, 1-year position with full benefits and the possibility of renewal. The teaching load is five courses for the academic year. We are seeking a candidate highly qualified in teaching mathematics, mathematics education, and/or statistics at the undergraduate level.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers programs in mathematics, mathematics education, applied mathematics, and statistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Department faculty members have many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and research.

Applicants need to provide a cover letter, resume, statement of teaching philosophy and three professional letters of reference. Further optional submissions include a research statement, scholarly documents, recent publications, and student teaching evaluations. Preference will be given to applicants who possess a PhD degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, or a related discipline by August 2019.
