The Department of Mathematics is not currently filling the position due to a university hiring freeze. The Department of Mathematics at Texas State University has openings for lecturer positions to begin Spring 2020. The initial appointment would be for the 2020-2021 academic year with the possibility of renewal subject to performance review and funding availability. The successful applicant will be expected to teach four courses each semester. At least a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education or a closely related field is required; however, a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is preferred. Candidates whose degree is in a closely related field must meet SACS accreditation standards to teach in a mathematics department.
