The Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for one or more full-time tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor). We seek applicants with research expertise in algebra or combinatorics. Successful candidates are expected to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, initiate and carry out independent research, and provide service to the department, the university, and the profession. Target start date is August 16, 2022. Ph. D. in Mathematics or a related field is required. Salary and teaching load are competitive.
