finished (2021/05/19, finished 2021/09/07, listed until 2021/11/19)| The Instituto de Matemáticas at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position in the area fluid dynamics and numerical analysis to begin as early as July 1st, 2021. We will start reviewing applications June 14th. The appointment is for a fixed term of one year. The position is for the branch of the Institute in the city of Queretaro. Partial funding is provided through a Conacyt grant and will involve inverse and direct problems in PDEs. The project will be supervised by Prof. Gerardo Hernandez-Duenas. Special considerations will be given to applicants with research interests overlapping computational mathematics, numerical analysis, geophysical fluid dynamics and fluid mechanics.
