Tenure-Track Positions in Applied Math and Math Biology at New Jersey Institute of Technology.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites applications for two tenure track positions at the assistant professor level, one in each of the following broad areas: (1) Applied Mathematics, and (2) Mathematical Biology. The appointments are to start in Fall 2018.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics or related discipline with strong research, funding and teaching potential for consideration at the assistant professor level.

DMS faculty research areas include fluid dynamics, mathematical biology, granular matter, nonlinear waves, applied analysis, scientific computing, dynamical systems, and probability and statistics. NJIT is located in the vibrant University Heights neighborhood of Newark, within the New York City metropolitan area.
