The Department of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks candidates to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant/associate professor level in the areas of statistical data science and machine learning. The appointment is to start in Fall 2022, and the department is particularly interested in candidates who are able to teach data science and statistics courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in statistics, data science, or related discipline with strong research, funding, and teaching potential. Outstanding candidates with a strong track record of research, funding, and teaching will be considered at the associate professor level.
