| The Department of Mathematics offers one permanent position at the assistant
professor level, starting June 1st, 2023. Academic responsibilities include doing
research in Mathematics, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and
carrying out administrative duties. Teaching is in Spanish.
The areas of Mathematics that will be considered are those related to the research
areas of the Department of Mathematics (http://dmat.cfm.cl/dmat), which are:
Logic and Number Theory, Analysis, and Geometry.
The Department has the following programs: Bachelor of Mathematics, Master in
Mathematics, and Ph.D. in Mathematics. It provides the opportunity to work in an
active research environment. Additionally, there exist many opportunities for
research funding at both local and international levels.

2. Research statement (of no more than three pages).
3. Curriculum Vitae, including name, affiliation, and the email address of two
persons who will send recommendation letters.
4. Photocopy of Academic Degree.
