SMRI International Visitor Program - 2025 Round 2 - Applications now open

Sydney Mathematical Research Institute (SMRI) International Visitor Program (IVP)

The IVP August round applications are now open. Researchers in the mathematical sciences from international universities who wish to continue with or develop a research project with Australian mathematical scientists are warmly invited to apply. The visit must include a minimum 2-week visit at SMRI (University of Sydney).

This round is for visits taking place between July 2026 and June 2027 for general applicants; and March 2026 – June 2027 for Aus & NZ citizens working overseas.

Applications will close on Friday 1 August (11:59am Sydney time AEST).

Applications must be made through the webform found on the IVP webpage and applicants must refer to the terms and conditions before considering an application.
