Position Description

If you are an internationally renowned expert (postdoc or permanent) in Combinatorics and related fields and would like to visit the Passau Discrete Mathematics group for a longer period (2-6 months), please contact Prof. Dr. Stefan Glock informally until 1 September to discuss a potential application for a PICAIS Research-in-Residence Fellowship at the University of Passau, Germany.

PICAIS (Passau International Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies) offers research stays for internationally renowned scholars. The next application deadline is 15 October. The selection process is typically completed within eight to ten weeks after application deadline. The fellowship should be started within 18 months after notification of approval. Note that the fellowship does not pay a salary. It covers travel, accommodation and daily allowances for the research visit. Besides collaboration on research projects, it is expected that the fellows contribute to the academic life of the university, for instance by giving a colloquium or seminar talk.
