Dr. Xin Fu received a bachelor's degree in science from Nanjing University in 2014 and a doctorate from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2020. After that, he joined the University of California, Irvine as a visiting assistant professor. In July 2023, he joined the Institute of Theoretical Sciences of Westlake University and set up a complex geometry research group. Dr. Xin Fu has long been engaged in the research of Kahler geometry and related geometric equations. We are currently recruiting 2 postdoctoral fellows.

Postdoctoral Fellow (no. of vacancies: 2） 

Start date: Flexible (two-year appointment) 

1) Hold or expect to hold a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics. 

2) Have a solid background in one of the following fields: Kahler geometry, geometric PDEs (Ricci flow, harmonic map, Hermitian-Yang-Mills connection, complex Monge-Ampere equation), complex algebraic geometry. 

The research group offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Applications for relevant projects and programs will be encouraged and supported. Post-doc(s) who are selected by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Advanced Programs of Zhejiang Province will be entitled to receive the same amount of funds from the Hangzhou government.

Postdoc(s) who work in Hangzhou full-time after completing their postdoctoral research will be eligible to apply for an allowance of 400,000 RMB from the Hangzhou municipal government.
