Position Description

The Department of Mathematics and Center for Transforming
Teaching in Mathematics at Florida International University seek to add
talented educators at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor. This is a 12
month, non-tenure accruing, renewable position based primarily at the main
campus. Qualified applicants who would like to work with an enthusiastic group
of innovative educators in mathematics are encouraged to apply. The successful
incumbent will possess at least a Masters degree in mathematics or affiliated
area with sufficient graduate level coursework in mathematics and will teach
12 credit hours per semester in courses ranging from college algebra to
calculus.
