Assistant Professor Indiana University Bloomington Department of Mathematics The Department of Mathematics seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor with appointment beginning in Fall 2023. Outstanding candidates with a PhD earned by the date of appointment in any area of pure and applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates will also be considered for the endowed Charlotte Ann Griffin Professorship. The department maintains strong research groups in most principal fields of mathematics, and is committed to an inclusive vision of excellence. Enhancing diversity within our faculty and students is an important aspect of departmental, college, and campus strategic planning. The base teaching load for research-active faculty is three courses per year.
