IBS Extremal Combinatorics and Probability Group (ECOPRO) in Daejeon, South Korea invites applications for research positions. We are hiring up to 

 - 3 senior researchers: 2 + possible 3-year extension. 

 - 3 postdoctoral research associates: 2 + possible 1-year extension 

 Deadline: September 15, 2024~ December 2, 2024 until 18:00 KST 

 ECOPRO is a research group that was established in April 1st, 2022 at Institute for Basic Science (IBS), led by Prof. Hong Liu. ECOPRO is located at the headquarters of IBS in Daejeon, South Korea, a city of 1.5 million people. We are looking for candidates with outstanding research potential in all fields of combinatorics with emphasis on Extremal and Probabilistic Combinatorics, Graph Theory, Discrete Geometry, Ramsey Theory and Combinatorial Number Theory. 

 This appointment is for two years with a starting salary no less than 59,000,000 KRW. The appointment is one time renewable contingent upon the outstanding performance of the researcher. The expected appointment date is June 1, 2025 (flexible, but no later than September 1, 2025). This is a purely research position and will have no teaching duties.
