Applicants should hold a PhD in Theoretical or Mathematical Physics, or a closely related area of Applied Mathematics. The successful candidate will be involved in one or more random-matrix-theory projects led by Prof. Eugene Kanzieper [follow this link for several representative publications].

Qualified candidates with a previous research record in random matrix theory and strong analytical skills are encouraged to submit a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, list of publications, and contact information of two referees to eugene.kanzieper@hit.ac.il (please use the pdf format). 

The starting date is negotiable (March-April 2025). The review of the applications will begin on February 3, 2025. Applications received after this date will be considered until the position is filled.
