The Williams College Department of Mathematics invites applications for two tenure-track positions in mathematics, beginning July 1, 2026, at the rank of assistant professor. The candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, by the time of appointment. We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, and show evidence of and/or promise for engaging undergraduates in their research programs. The teaching load is two courses per semester; it is also expected that all faculty will participate meaningfully in the Winter Study curriculum during January.
