Trinity College invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Beginning July 1, 2027, the position offers a competitive salary/benefits package, monetary support for research, a 4-course teaching load (2/2) for the first two years, and a 5-course teaching load (3/2) thereafter. Requirements: a Ph. D. in mathematics or applied mathematics, with a strong potential for sustained research in applied mathematics with a focus on applications in the life sciences; evidence of effective teaching; a description in teaching and research statements of how the candidate will continue to develop their teaching and research at an undergraduate institution like Trinity, with a strong preference for involving undergraduates in research.
