Position Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must hold a doctoral degree or its equivalent in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, educational mathematics, statistics, or computer science by date of hire. JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: Applicants must have a strong research potential and commitment to teaching, while demonstrating a good publication record in quality journals. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching and research. Initiative and leadership skills are expected. Applicants must provide a record of scientific research publications which indicates the candidate’s potential to establish and maintain a productive research program. Interest in collaborating with faculty in other research areas in the department or university is desirable. Classes at the University are taught in Spanish or English.
